"Serenade's" by Bloch® offers a
square, wide toe platform
which is excellent for balance
on pointe. This pointe shoe has
a similar shape to the Sonata in
that the heel is narrow and fits
snugly. The platform is wider
so is better suited to a dancer
with square shaped toes and
assists dancers who are i
nclined to "sickle" or fall off
pointe sideways.the Serenade
compensates this with a longer
vamp and stronger shank.

| Sonata MKII includes four improvements over the original Sonata. It reveals more of dancers foot and reduces bunching of the satin when on pointe. Second, the new genereation insole is harder wearing and moulds quicker to the slope of a dancers arch. Third, the Sonata MKII features a longer wing puff which reduces creasing and bunching of satin when on pointe. Finally, the additional padding under the pleating makes these shoes quieter.
